STILL getting there...

       For a long time I hated the question, "How are you".  In American culture, I felt like it was more of a greeting than concern for your well-being so my answer was always that "I'm getting there."  I think that was my attempt at authenticity.  The "there" I meant was simply the goal of making my life look like Christ and I was certain that I was NOT "there" so I was in the process.  I was "getting there."

I don't know exactly what I will share here but I want it to be authentic.
